Action Hero is a relatively young company whose trademark ‘Lo-Fi’ productions are experimental in form while remaining accessible and full of charm. Using the deeds of flamboyant stuntman Evel Knievel, famous test pilot Chuck Yeager and the inspirational speeches of various American presidents as source material, Watch Me Fall, this new work selected by Edinburgh Showcase explores human appetite to do the impossible and the inevitability of spectacular and sometimes inglorious failure.
